Clinical excellence
We believe great Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) combines evidence-informed practice with genuine human connection.
The best outcomes happen when people feel heard, respected and supported. Our practitioners are guided by strong supervision, ongoing learning and a shared commitment to quality.
What do we mean by ‘clinical excellence’?
Clinical excellence is the benchmark we set for the standard of support and care delivered to every participant. Because PBS is all we do, our processes, systems, supervision and training are all designed around supporting high-quality practice. Our practitioners draw on experience, collaboration and shared learning, as well as building a personal connection with the participant and their family. It’s only through focusing on all of these pillars that meaningful and lasting change is achieved.
Clinical excellence means
- Utilising what’s known to be effective through years of practical use and shared learning
- Ensuring our robust systems, training and supervision standards lead to consistent high-quality support
- Incorporating the participant’s own experiences, values, and input from them and those who know them best
This approach helps ensure that support is not only effective but also relevant, respectful and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

The School of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
The School of PBS strengthens how we develop our practitioners by embedding structured, credentialed learning into our PBS development pathway.
It builds on our existing development model, combining practical experience, supervision and formal training to support practitioners as they progress in capability and confidence.
Delivered in partnership with MedHealth Academy and the University of Melbourne, the School of PBS contributes to strengthening practitioner capability and supporting consistent, accountable PBS delivery.
