Behaviour Support Practitioner

Icon

I believe behaviour is a form of communication, and understanding the person behind it is the first step towards meaningful support. As a practitioner, I bring frontline insight from my two years of experience as a support worker, a background in developmental psychology, and a genuine passion for helping people with disabilities feel heard, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives. My goal is to work alongside each participant with a person-centred approach to reduce restrictive practices and turn their strengths and interests into opportunities to live the life they choose.

I love being a friendly, reliable, and consistent face in people's lives that is able to help make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. I enjoy building genuine relationships while learning about their individual goals, strengths, and interests to support them in becoming more independent and confident. It is rewarding to see the progress people make to reaching their goals and living the life they want.
