As a mother of three boys (two teenagers and a seven-year-old), I combine lived experience and understand with my background in psychological studies to provide a unique perspective to my work and life. I love a movie night with the family and spending time afterwards talking about themes and character plot points. I enjoy time in the kitchen baking and creating special cakes for family, with one the latest being a big yellow truck called "AL" who was completely edible.

How I would describe my therapeutic style:
collaborative, evidence-based, person-centred
How participants would describe me:
creative, encouraging, thoughtful
For me, it is about building a genuine, trusting connections and creating a space where people feel heard, respected, and valued for who they are and how they are. Supporting people with a disability is about more than assistance—it is about empowering independence, encouraging choice, and helping each person work toward their own goals at their own pace and meeting them where they are.
Seeing growth in confidence, no matter how small the step might seem I find especially rewarding. Every individual brings their own strengths, personality, and experiences, and being part of that journey is both humbling and inspiring.
